One of our favorite ways to eat broccoli. This one is from Dinner At the Zoo. Usually use half the amount of oyster sauce. Often include sliced mushrooms and/or chopped onions and it works fine. When either fresh ginger or fresh garlic isn't available, powdered is substituted and it's still tasty. If beef broth isn't handy, substitute with beef flavor Better Than Bouillon and it works. And if there is leftover roast beef, it is substituted for the raw roast beef. Slice it very thin and add it at the very end once the sauce has been made. Let the finished dish sit for a bit to let the sauce flavors penetrate the meat before serving. That's what we love about this recipe - it's so versatile and hard to mess up!
